Watching Benfica v Arsenal...
During this match I learned a lot of things.

1. Both legs to be played in neutral venues
2. Odegard is an Arsenal player (since when?)
3. Weigl Ottamendi, Waldschmidt, Vertonghen, Everton Seferovic are all Benfica players

Jesus Christ Hoffenheim. 4 goals in a row conceded to Molde without an answer. Embarrassing.

Imagine being 3-1 up away in the first leg, you get a penalty, miss it and then concede 2 goals away and 2 goals in the 2nd leg at home. Ouch.

Sad for Eagles from Portugal, they were so close

Sad to say it, but if I were in charge at Hoffenheim, I would consider firing Sebastian Hoeness right now...not goring through over two legs against Molde is simply unacceptable.

Makes you wonder.

Not long ago many users suggested that perhaps Seb's family connection got him the job, rather than his own merit.

Then the youth did really well, and many were quick to say things about how we should eat crow regarding Hoeness and that he's proven himself.

At the same time some also suggested that perhaps it wasn't necessarily JUST a measure of Hoeness' ability but also the fact that the youth had one of their most talented teams ever and the biggest investment-period in the club's history and that perhaps that had an impact on their performances.

A year later seems like it might be a mix of all three.

Weigl. I forgot about him. I used to really like him as well and thought he would be very important for Germany for many years

Came to post about this. Unbelievable. Every day I'm more convinced that Bayern should join a super ligue effort because the only alternative is fading into obscurity like Ajax.

Leverkusen also has 45 minutes left to get 2 goals or will be disqualified against a Swiss club. Really, embarrassing.

I can't understand what happened to Weigl. He was SO good under Tuchel and then he is not even good enough to start in BuLi? Talk about a plunge.

That was seriously such a weird case. I can't recall the last time I saw a player who was apparently so manager-dependent. Looked like one of the best in the league, all kinds of promise, and then just turned into a total non-factor

Dinamo Zagreb are on their way to their best result in modern history to repeat - 1/8 finals. =D>

1:0 at half-time against Russian Krasnodar(currently 4:2 agg).

Leverkusen are an embarrassment for German football

Should be banned from all European competitions

Leverkusen and Hoffenheim are a joke! How have they both lost to such inferior competition!? All my RTTF cards in FUT are duds now... Diaby, Bebou, and even Grimaldo after Benfica choked. Ugh

Even Leicester are about to lose to a lesser team. What’s up with the Europa league? Almost every team that was favoured, lost. Napoli as well!
