He's played a good game. A little bit wasteful, but overall a good game.

But when I see that miss, Paulo Dybala against Tottenham last night comes to my mind.

Exactly the same goal chance, but there you have Dybala with the world class finishing while Werner just passed the ball to the goalie.

Well, to be fair, Dybala was virtually invisible for the entire match up until that point...

That's much better Timo :coffee:

RB Leipzig playing a very solid match. Hopefully they won't screw up conceding a stupid goal in the last 10 minutes

2-0 =D>

Exactly, that's my point.

He barely touched the ball during the 90 minutes. But when he did, he scored the game winner in the biggest game of the season so far for Juventus.

Maybe I was asking for too much

Silly foul by Upamecano right in the penalty arch (not sure that was a foul though) and Criscito scores a beautiful curled free kick

2-1

By 2300 CET tonight, we will once again be the only club flying the flag for Germany and the BL in Europe.

Leipzig really should be safe by now. But two defensive lapses in concentration in the defence (the late FK in the first leg and the goal in first half stoppage time here) mean the tie is still open.

I saw the last part of the first half...
Zenit seem to be the more likely team to qualify...
I am not watching right now but I want the game to go into extra time...

Holy shit Leipzig, just kill the **** game. So typical of them panicking when they should be comfortable. If they play it right Zenit have no chance.

One of the reasons I'm doubtful about Hassenhutl's level really. Not adept at keeping his team in control. So many leads given away.

FFS now Werner misses a penalty. If Leipzig don't go through they will only have themselves to blame.

He‘s pretty wasteful actually... Just for those thinking he’s so much better than Lewandowski...
