Schalke were lucky. Get United, Celta or Lyon and they're out, but it would have been the same for Gladbach anyway so it doesn't really matter. I just prefer Gladbach as a club so wanted them to go through.

Very entertaining match overall.
P.S
Are we still after Lacazette? Or maybe Fekir?

They are Europa League players.

Good back up but too expensive for back up.

Really great second half from OL.

Lacazette is not bad.

They were lucky yesterday. Romero pulled off two miracle saves, one of which was literally the last kick of the match which would have sent the match to extra time.

Re United. Doesn't matter they're still getting through even with luck. They're not amazing but the teams left are all a step below them, and they'll all be in awe of them especially at their stadium. I'm not one to hype PL teams obviously but they really should be winning this looking at the teams left.

United lucky in the draw once again. Anderlecht this time.

Ajax vs Schalke will be interesting.

Tielemans will destroy them single handedly

Alex Ferguson: Europa League win imperative for Manchester United's Champions League hopes

Manchester United currently lie in fifth place in the Premier League.

Four points behind Liverpool, with two games in hand, fourth place, and the Champions League certainly seem within reach for Jose Mourinho's side.

Despite their league position, former manager Alex Ferguson feels the best chance the team have of playing in the Champions League next season, if by winning the Europa League in May.

The Old Trafford side are favourites to win the tournament for the first time in their history. Drawn against Belgian giants Anderlecht in the quarter-finals, United are only five games away from winning the title.

In an interview with American radio station SiriusXM, Ferguson is reported to have put United's best chance in a Stockholm final in two months time.

"At the moment the Premier League is a real fight for the positions behind Chelsea with Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, ourselves. It’s not going to be easy to get into the top four."

Scheisse losing to the Dutch. German teams are shit in Europe, it's just like a decade ago.

Manc bastards clearly winning this tournament anyway.

It's a strange feeling watching UEFA football on what feels like a Friday night. It's kind of messing with my head.

I am not watching but just checked the scores. I have a bad feeling that man u will win this and end up in the ucl anyways. Not that I am afraid of them but it is so funny to see them play in the second tier of European football
