Birkirkara had only conceded in added time in London last week and a 15th-minute goal from former Italy stiker Fabrizio Miccoli as he turned in Lilui's pas, combined with a first-half red card for West Ham's James Tomkins ensured they took the Respect Fair Play qualifiers to extra time on a humid night in Malta. Birkirkara's Mauricio Mazzetti was dismissed in the 108th minute but a shoot-out was needed and West Ham prevailed with Diego Poyet striking the decisive penalty. [source]

BVB will play away on July 30 and at home, at the Signal Iduna Park, on August 6.

Man, they are FAST. Mkhitaryan has been impressive so far this pre-season, and I have a feeling Aubameyang will have a breakthrough season.

LOL to West Ham... The 3rd red card in 5 matches... One has to say that the hammers are in the Eur Lg thanks to a uefa fair play award ... wow... They screwed a two nill lead at home... We(birkirkara FC) should have been playing tody and not them... :evil:

to Sampdoria... 0-4 Vs Vojvodina... The last goal was a super goal check it out. The comm said that the guy (class'94 who also scored another) had a big match...

I know you're still upset at the way they beat Birkirkara :wink:

but to be fair it is only Wet Spam, and they belong in the "dross" category of PL teams, although they do think they're bigger and better than they are. We (Hull City) got dumped out by Lokeren of Belgium at this stage last year, and I imagine this Astra team is of a similar quality to them.
