BVB's defence is looking really shaky now. Our (probably) optimal line-up is Hakimi, Akanji, Diallo, Schmelzer and we had to play Hakimi, Toprak, Zagadou, Guerreiro today and will probably have to play something similar against Bayern too. Depends how serious is Diallo's injury. But it was visible that Toprak needs match practise and time.

Sancho is such an amazing talent, some of his dribbles and touches were out of this world. Hopefully he stays healthy and he will be a huge superstar in a few years.

Dude you could play the defense of your second team and would still win comfortably...

Could you imagine #12's posts if we had required a 120 min penalty to beat a 2.BL team at home in Pokal?

Official generic DFB-Pokal discussion thread

Postby #12 » Thu Nov 01, 2018 3:42 pm

They are... Nonetheless Dortmund were not that good yesterday...

You’re the biggest hypocrites ever though, as we wouldn’t be on par regarding great performances even if we produced nothing but goal fests till Christmas...
They‘ve had like three bad games all season... I'm struggling to find three good ones...

So can you imagine if it was the other was around? "#12 is losing it because of one game!", "You can’t win/expect us to win every game!", "You’re never satisfied", blah blah blah...

Get your own shit together and stop dragging me into it, fucking hypocrite!!

I mean, let's be honest: Dortmund played against a much, MUCH better team than us. Union are 3rd (I think) in 2. BL and undefeated in league play. Rödinghausen are something like 5th in the fourth division. They are miles apart in quality, simple as that. I'd rather get challenged by a decent 2.BL side than a Regionalliga side...

Anyways. I'm not trying to stick up for Dortmund or whatever, but let's not sugar-coat our performance, either. We can talk about how Dortmund struggled against Union but the simple fact of the matter is that if asked which team would be easier to beat, every single one of you would answer Rödinghausen and you know it. So i mean...we can say that Dortmund struggled, sure, they did, but so did we, and we did so against a much, much, much worse team. How do you think things would have gone if the tables were turned? Would Dortmund have gone up 2-0 quickly and then struggled for the majority of the match vs Rödinghausen? Would we have dispatched Union Berlin with ease? I doubt that very much.
God Bless Thomas Müller
