A relatively easy draw after two very difficult ones. If Bayern win, I just hope that we play the semi final at home!

After being 0-2 down Julian Brandt scores two and the game is tied now !!

First goal was a tap in, but second was a beautiful goal from outside the box. 8)

True, but after being 0-2 up in a Cup game you just cannot concede a goal like Brandt's first one.

Excellent use of VAR by the referee there. Very well done. Correctly handed yellow cards to Kohr and Bailey for wrestling with Bremen players. VAR is awesome with competent referees =D>

Lol looks like I spoke too soon. What should’ve been a Bremen corner is incorrectly given a Leverkusen goal kick and lo and behold Leverkusen score from the resultant incorrectly given goal kick. Reminiscent of the 2010 World Cup final when Spain (Iniesta) scored off a goal kick what should have been a Dutch corner.

Hopefully VAR can be used to fix these incorrect corners, goal kicks and throw ins because these seemingly small incorrect decisions too can greatly impact the match.

If only they VAR'ed corner/goal kick calls......What should've been a Bremen corner was incorrectly called a goal kick..Instead of chance to equalize Leverkusen turn and run down to go up 4-2. Have to think Bremen feel just a bit hard done by there but at the same time hard to blame a loss on one bad corner call ha

These seemingly small errors can have huge consequences, game changing ones. The 2010 WC final is the biggest example of this kinda stuff. The Dutch should’ve had a corner but the fool Howard Webb and his team of assistants gave the Spanish a goal kick and Iniesta scored the winner from that goal kick. Today a similar error killed off Bremen with Leverkusen’s fourth goal. Pity.

Well, De Jong's kung fu kick on Alonso's chest happened way before that :P
