We have to close the gaps in the center is where it's at. Thiago was doing that masterfully. Kimmich cannot, so Flick has to find a way to control the midfield again. Not only that it will stop leaks, but also make a better transition to attack, which we're also greatly lacking. I still believe that Kimmich has to go to right-back for now and have a new partnership with Goretzka in the middle. Our only pretty good half in the last few weeks came against Mainz when Kimmich moved there.. it's no coincidence.

No it’s not... Where's the part about us being unable to score against a Zweitligist or even make them break a sweat? That shouldn’t be the case even if we start FCB II...

Man, when we are bad we are really terrible. Congrats to Kiel, fully deserved.
Muller having the nerves after such a defeat saying we should have won... ffs

At this point I don't believe it's only on Flick. The players are off their game, something is wrong mentally with them and of course our tactics don't work anymore. After this only things can get better. Flick got two embarrassing slaps in his face in one week. If he doesn't start changing things and personnel but he stucks with his own players and fixations then the board's options are very limited.

Such a defeat is a team loss just like against Gladbach. You can't be up 2-0 and lose the match and blame one-two players. You can't get eliminated from a second division club and solely blame a handful of players. We have a huge general issue within the team.

Yeah we don’t need to go anywhere to concede 7-8 goals, every other 7th tier team is enough...

People saying its down to personel are irritating. No its not just personel, ofcourse there are some players who are playing shit and we xould use better ones. But its not the main problem. Neither is losing thiago the main problem. Ofcourse he was good, but flick didn't even play him most of the time as he preffered the kimmich goretzka duo. And with that midfield we still won then. For me this is mostly on flick and not for squad selection. He's been talking about problems but isn't doing anything tacticly. He constantly talking about the season being very tireing and our system needing to much energy. Meanwhile he plays the same system as last season just without the constant high press and intensity. And there are more tacticall foults at play and i dont get how flick doesn't see them and does something about them instead of being so f*ing ingorant.

That didn’t change but for one actually meaningful player... And people claimed we were overall better this season with Sané for Thiago as late as October...

Well, Mueller is technically right. We hit the post. Kiel stopped 8 goalbound shots (6 goalkeeper saves in the game, 1 blocked shot, 1 save in the PSO). Bayern stopped 1 (and I can't even remember it, probably a very weak attempt). On top of that there was that Mueller miss, why did he not talk about that? That was truly embarrassing.

Anyway, technically Mueller is right. We had more chances than them, so in reality we deserved to win.

YET! MORALLY (?) we should have had more chances than that, and defender better, against a second division team. The fact that with everything against them they managed to exploit their weaknesses doesn't make their victory undeserved, and I won't argue about calling it deserved too given the circumstances. But they did still have the fewer chances, let's keep that in our minds.

I think the one player who would have helped us most in a game like yesterday is actually Perisic. He'd have been the only one trying hard unlike the overpaid millionaires who were walking around yesterday.

Yay, let’s celebrate! You should factor in, that one of those chances wasn’t one, as it was gifted to us... Which is just fine, it happens... Just funny how even THAT wasn’t enough...

He’s wrong on so many levels! If this is all the "best team in the world" has to offer, I never ever want to see a bad team play... It was 130mins of pure torture and everyone with a working eye saw we were out in the 94th at the latest...

@MUTU let's not play with words and take everything literally. Our first goal was offside FYI. That's not the point.

The team needs to regroup. Flick said one correct thing. We have to forget it because we have lot of work to do. That's the bottom line, he needs to address the problems and make some brave moves and adjustments.
