i have a feeling that if we win in 90 minutes at 2-1, we'll lose in extra time

Well, nothing to lose and everything to gain!

They're the heavy favorites. They're at home. They have a more complete XI than us - admittedly not first choice, but let's be real, we have probably 10 starting XI's we'd rather play than this one. We're down 2-1. We hardly have a bench. We're here just because our old manager came out of retirement; if that doesn't happen we're lucky to make it out of the groups.
We lose, we're eliminated by the defending champs - at their home stadium, with 6 starters out and a bench that's hardly even touched a professional pitch, after already being down 2-1.
We win and we've eliminated the defending champs in their home stadium. We win with 6 starters out and next to no bench. We overturn a 2-1 deficit and go on to the finals where we'll have great momentum, confidence, and - knock on wood - a few key players returning.

I don't know how it'll go. I've said for a while now that with Jupp we're on borrowed time - we should count ourselves lucky to even be still in the conversation after Ancelotti - but we've got nothing to lose! Pack ma's!!
