I don't know about yall, but this is a super interesting game for me. Bayern is not playing particularly good in Russia and in the early hours of the Champions League, while now we have the most complete and ready team in recent years with Flick ahead.

I still remember when Rostov beat us 3-2 in the 16/17 season, in 2008 Zenit destroyed us 4-0, and we couldn't beat up Spartak in 06/07. I don't remember the older games. But we won against CSKA in Russia in our first treble season. 8)

No, it was 2013/2014. Belrussian BATE Borisov won 3:2 in the group stage 2012/2013.

Götze was the hero against CSKA during that snow fall. :) And in 2014/2015 we also played against them and won 0:1 in Russia. So, something obviously changed since then despite Rostov defeat. But I also calculate 3 points to Russians whenever we play in Russia.

Oh yeah, I switched up the years haha.

Anyway, playing in Russia is hard for any outside team.

Russian teams aren’t the impregnable force they once were at home. Quite the opposite in fact. Similar to the Turks really

one of only three losses that season, i remember them all well. BATE, Leverkusen, and Arsenal (I was in the Allianz Arena for this one)

Yes, what a season... That Leverkusen managed impossible to survive in Munich and take us 3 points instead of leaving with zero.

I still dream of a season without one single defeat. We do this in the Pokal, we did it in the CL with all victories last season and only in the Bundesliga it's a dream and challenge that we must set to ourselves. That 29-4-1, 91 points in 2012/2013 is something to overcome. Those 18 conceded goals that season could have easily been 10 goals when you see how many we conceded cheap at home. :D

i too would love to see that - an "invicibles" season by Bayern in the Bundesliga. I thought maybe this could be the year... our tired start put a stop to that real quick  but it's really the last huge "achievement" that Bayern can strive for. Trebles, etc., have all been won... but an undefeated season, that would be truly incredible.

Roca for Kimmich if he’s ready, maybe Boateng for Alaba but not sure that would work. I think I’d start Lewa but other than that I agree.

I would start Musiala and Costa

Coman needs rest

Lewa will kill someone if he is left out.

At the back Pavard Sule Alaba Lucas

Mdf. Tolisso will be starting for sure since he is suspended for another BuLi game

Rest Coman against Cologne. I’m not comfortable starting Musiala in a tough away UCL game. Same goes for Roca, we need to secure top place in the group ASAP so Kimmich has to play. Roca can start against Köln who look not great at the moment.

Lewandowski has started three games in a row now and should be managed. He’ll be especially needed next week against Salzburg and Dortmund.
