Ribéry might actually not be fit for this match. He tore his hamstring.

If Robben starts, it's heavy burden for Lewandowski.

I prefer Gnabry and Coman on the wings, only use #10 in 2nd half or from min.70+ when most of Liverpool's defender already tired with Coman and Gnabry's pace, then Robben come for some surprised moves, will be useful

Thomas Müller has been handed a 2 game ban by UEFA following his red card against Ajax. He will miss both legs against Liverpool.

Bad news for Pool.

Horrible news for Bayern. We now have to hope James can stay healthy for more then a month.

Could be a turning point for James and Bayern. I honestly think that's more important than getting through.

Well if we sign CHO we could theoretically play Davies-Gnabry-CHO or move Thiago back behind Lewa. Risky moves but not too bad.

This should be good news for James, but his stint at Bayern has been marred with injuries. James has about a month to get into top footballing condition. Of course he needs to play in order to get there and with this news I think Kovac will need to play him more then he wanted. Hopefully James will be in top condition when we face Liverpool at Anfield.

Two games phew.... for a dangerous play...
Does good conduct counts for nothing for those mafia thugs ?-

As if he did it maliciously! He was not even watching the opponent coming.

Unbelievable

Well, that's subjective.

You see, I think he deserves it. Honestly, I doubt Thomas intended it. However you can't just give an arbitrary player the benefit of the doubt, otherwise it opens up precedents for players who don't deserve any benefit of the doubt. Imagine Sergio Ramos pulls off that thing in the Champions League and claim he didn't do it maliciously (as if anybody would believe him), you really don't want him to get a 1 match suspension because of there being a precedent case with Thomas Mueller, would you? Instead you'd probably be asking for a lifetime ban.

Thank god. This increases our chances of advancing/not getting beat the f up dramatically.

Should appeal to increase the ban in case we beat Liverpool.

A straight red card means a two match ban... but some common sense should also be applied

I don't think there's a lack of common sense. 2 matches are deserved. I wouldn't have complained if it were 3 either. Intentional or not, it was a very ugly foul and very dangerous.
