The stadium is on 2 floors/ "stages", but from inside it's looking bigger.

I hope those last minutes taught something to those prejudiced ones.

Ugly win on the road. I’ll take that. Even Juventus won ugly against Tottenham. Given the fact that Bayern were 7-0 (8-0 with away goals) up by the 50th minute I expected the performance to drop a bit and Besiktas after that had nothing to fear so they were pressing really high. Alaba was the culprit for the goal but honestly, Love deserved his goal, him and Qureshma were their best players.

@ Ed - You can't put in a classic display every game :x

About the game. Hummels booking and Thiago injury (Personally I think it was a precautionary sub) are the only big negatives for me. As for dribblers running rings around our CBs, one of the fullbacks and one midfielder need to gang up on such dribblers in the future to stop them.

Jupp “I said before the game that we needed to stay disciplined and not allow ourselves to be provoked by their physicality. That’s the only negative today, that we picked up too many yellows. It was a convincing result. Besiktas hadn’t lost here in the Champions League, so it’s not easy. We scored at the right times and opened up a 7-0 aggregate lead. It’s normal that we dropped off a little.” [UEFA]

How much was Ancelotti's salary again, 15m? Heynckes deserves 150 BILLION a season. He's easily 10,000 times better than Ancelotti!

Besiktas maybe light years ahead of Hamburg but they still are an average side compared to the rest of the potential QF opponents.

I fear a very sorry QF exit awaits. Back to the pre Guardiola days.

Oh come on. We beat them 5-0 at home and still managed a pretty decent 3-1 tonight.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

One of my buddies, a die hard Real fan said to me other day - "I don't know much about Jupp, but i think they just stare at him on the bench - they are delighted to see him just sitting on the bench and they give everything from themselves."

Well, a bucket filled with dirty water is already better than Ancelotti...

I wasn't very happy with Lewandowski today. Everyone else was willing to put in the necessary work for 90 minutes except him.* The
team significantly improved after Wagner came on simply because he was willing to help out on defense, and I honestly feel he should have started.

*Looking at the starting 11, Ulreich, Hummels, Boateng, Rafinha, Alaba, Vidal, Martinez, Thiago, Muller, Ribery(even though he's declined), they all love Bayern. Coming off the bench James, Sule, Wagner all love Bayern. Lewandowski is the only one that stands out.

Robert was a ghost. Thomas, Vidal, Martinez and Alaba (except for the goal mistake) were Bayern’s best players. Franck was good too but he looked tired in the second half and Wagner looked better than Lewandowski when he came on.
