Too bad you don't know that sarcasm isn't an excuse for being a dickhead.

If you want to be sarcastic at least make sure you get the point the other person makes before you try to be funny.

But hopefully this CB experiment is due to the fact of Javi Martínez being slow as hell and needing a tow truck to run back. We'll need at least one fast CB to cope with Dortmund pace.

You think Hummels was slow? Well he is like Aubameyang compared to Javi :o

This. With the right tactics and coach, Alaba is a decent alternative at CB.

Ahh glad to see that even after all this time some users here are still given a free pass to use “personal insults” while others are cautioned/banned. Alright cunt next time I’ll try not being a dickhead

Well I guess I’ll take my chances too with the personal insults you motherfückers 8)

What the fuck is that backline? Was looking forward to tonight’s game for the first time in a loooong time - am not anymore... Kovac II at the helm...

Putting a good LB at CB where he sucks to playa CB at at RB where he sucks even more than at CB - just to play a good RB in DM where he - again - sucks... On top of that drop Thiago for a ball loser and play a LW at LB...

Goretzka and Kimmich where absolutely shite whenever they partnered in midfield last season

Hope it is more of a 4-1-4-1 and hope that Thiago is just being rested

That is an atrocious lineup.

Goretzka and Kimmich in midfield even failed for Germany. I forgot Flick was a disciple of Niko and Löw :(

It's ugly but I think we can get away with a bit of experimenting today. Frankly, outside of Lewy and I guess Gnabry, most all players were in pretty crap form, so there's not a hugely strong merit-based argument for handing many a starting spot at the moment. For me it's pretty well all up for grabs at the moment. Of course I still don't agree with all of the lineup, but...we're in a safe spot in the group. It's reasonable to play a non-Boateng CB today as that's what we'll have to do vs Dortmund.
No secret I'm a big Thiago fan, but he's been mostly poor this season, hard to get too upset about him on the bench. Don't love Kimmich in midfield, and I'm sure he's better at RB, but our other midfielders have been pretty poor too, so he's probably not really a downgrade at that position, at least at the moment... It's not my ideal XI but I can't complain too much...yet.

Is it possible that we at least wait until the end of the match to decide whether or not the lineup of a coach in his debut match makes sense or not?

That’s not the point... The point us we KNOW he wants the team to warm up for Saturday... So he'll line em up like this again...
