Well, to be fair, this was the first match in like 3 years without Thiago where we haven’t looked like complete dogsh*t lol. Not that Olympiacos pressed much or gave the midfield anything to think about anyways, but I’ll take it. Resting Thiago with Dortmund coming up was probably a good plan

I think the main objective was to keep a clean sheet which totally make sense after disastrous performance on the weekend. They played slow at the in the first half, but keeping the ball and slowing down the game after the first goal in the last 10 minutes was completely logical.

Agreed... although would have been nice to get bored during a Bayern match. Unfortunately it was still boring, like all games recently.

I don't think the last few games were boring. For the neutral fan.
This game was really boring. Maybe not the worst thing in these times.

You're right about Frankfurt. The rest not really even if they had goals and were close IMO. Just very dull games all around.

I think the perception in this forum is incredibly warped. We played better than we have previously. The pressing was more aggressive, we seemed to display more intensity in the duels, we kept a clean sheet, allowed just a single shot attempt, should have scored 5 or 6 goals. It was an improvement. With an interesting lineup choice.
