After I return from a week long vacation I hope I’ll find...

1) No more smartarses defending this club’s menagement,
2) Kovač brothers far, far away from this club and coaching on their actual level of expertise, like Partizan Belgrade for example
3) Uli announcing retirement

Will be cancelling BT Sport tomorrow. I Imagine they'll be shocked that someone would wish to cancel while four PL cunts remain in the CL. Should mean I get straight through to their cancellations department anyway.

German football is done out here.

Inconvenient truth. Bayern is heavily reliant on German football and German football is in a retooling stage. Goretzka, Werner, Havertz - these are kids

We are definitely not amongst the top 8 teams in Europe.

I did think though we would win this one and get through.

Turns out the defensive performance of the first leg is the best we can do. With this squad we can't have a good balance between attack and defence, let alone being slightly more attacking.

This is exactly why I was never confident of Bayern qualifying for the QF. I could just not see both our attacking play and defensive game play out soundly in a big game like this. Although I expected this ever since the draw was made but still I feel really sad right now :(

I have to say Kimmich missing and Coman not fit for 90 had a big impact.
I would like to think the outcome would have been different if they were both available.

However, a CL worthy squad can't be thrown off track by 1 defensive and 1 attacking injury.
It is always the same excuse we have year in and year out.

I hope Hernandez can put in a cross.
I' really can't watch Alaba hitting the first man anymore. He's been doing it for 10 yrs.

Someone should try and train him to hit the first defender. I'm pretty sure he'll miss every time and end up being the best crosser of the ball in Europe.

I criticized Robert very harshly last season when his wastefulness in front of goal cost Bayern the semifinal against Real Madrid. Today however I won’t blame him because our offensive tactics were so bad over 180 minutes that Lewandowski had zero decent service to really make an impact. I don’t think Robert is to blame for today’s defeat.

No more to say. Our x11 and squad are not optimal, but neither are they bad enough to justify this result. Kovac out.

The biggest disgrace for me was the moron Schalke coach.
His team is utterly humiliated. It could have been 10 zip and post match when exchanging handshakes with Guardiola he is gushing like a teenage girl at a boyband concert.

There is no ambition.
Clearly reflects the state of German football in general.

We should do well to savor the 2014 WC win, because it seems everyone from DFB down to the players have decided to take time off post 2014.

Probably Tolisso. Offensively, our MF was toothless
