...yet. But I'm not worried. We will get there. I hope this weekend we can get a good rest for Kimmich and play James. And Jupp should reward himself with a good little holiday after this series of 3-games weeks. You totally deserve it. GOAT coach for Bayern.

I think the team needs to keep their foot on the gas for the entire 90 mins. They relaxed a bit after the 3rd goal and Celtic had some chances to score a goal. Much improved game though and very pleased with the changes and result.

You guys disgust me saying Heynckes is (only) the greatest Bayern coach of all time. He is the greatest coach in football history and will probably remain so until the end of time.

If we win the treble again we should pay off Allianz and rename the stadium to Heynckes Stadion.

Great performance by everyone, especially Coman and Robben. Thiago didn't stand out like the weekend but it doesn't mean he didn't play well.

Coman was massive today, he and Kimmich + Thiago easily our top three players for me.

Rudy keeps doing well to change my opinion on him. As such I'm always willing to be proven wrong and he seems to be working hard at that. If we're playing 4-2-3-1 (which seems like the plan for the foreseeable future) I think Thiago - Rudy is our best pairing.
I hate to say it but it's quite jarring whenever Thiago comes out and/or Vidal comes on today. We totally dominated the midfield today with Thiago - Rudy, something I haven't seen in a long time. As soon as Vidal came on things turned utterly chaotic and we lost all control. Of course some of that can be attributed to Celtic's subs and perhaps some fatigue on our end....but the difference was night and day. I must say that if we're playing two midfielders, right now he is 3rd choice for me and is probably 4th if Javi is healthy and playing well.... He will have a hard time IMO getting significant minutes without injuries to guys ahead of him.

Things are still not the way i want them to be, but we are definitely on the right direction.

Coman and Kimmich were super today.

The Thiago-Rudy pair was very good too, but we still need to see this pair against the Top teams (e.g. Real Madrid) to judge because in terms of passing and game control, they are awesome, but defensively, i still have little doubts.

oh and give James more playing time.

This was curious to me. Robben was pretty clearly gassed after 45 minutes or so. Weird to see Coman come off....
IMO, keep Coman on and either put James in at RW (or I suppose could put him at LW and move Coman to RW, why not) or move Müller out to RW and put James in central.

Whenever I see Rafinha play, I think "why isn't he a starter for a really good team?" Because seriously watching him rip apart Celtic's defense after he came on for Kimmich made me realize that we have two of the three best attacking right backs in the world on our team.* That cross that Muller nearly scored off was insane.

*They are very different players. Kimmich is a midfielder right back with striker tendencies, while Rafinha is a winger right back. It's like the difference between Lahm and Marcelo.

Anyways, no reason not to be satisfied with our performance:
