I said I take anything but Bayern and that's what I got. City was probably the second worse draw that could happen and it would be naive of me to think that we actually stand a chance. City has impressed greatly so far while Dortmund, let's say, has not impressed greatly so far. Still, I don't feel beaten in advance and greater upsets has probably occurred in the past (has it?). Who knows, maybe Haaland can have one of these days he tends to have sometimes and scores from everywhere, and perhaps City can have one of their bad days that always occurs every season.

Re: [2021-03-19] 2021-22 Champions League QF and SF draw

Postby MUTU » Fri Mar 19, 2021 3:00 pm

Schedule

6-7 April: QFs 1st leg
13-14 April: QFs 2nd leg
27-28 April: SFs 1st leg
4-5 May: SFs 2nd leg
29 May: Final

This is our schedule around the QFs:

3 April 18:30 (fuck off DFL!!!) RB Leipzig vs FC Bayern
6-7 April 21:00 FC Bayern vs PSG
10 April 15:30 FC Bayern vs Union Berlin
13-14 April 21:00 PSG vs FC Bayern

PSG's schedule:

3 April 17:00 PSG vs Lille
6-7 April 21:00 FC Bayern vs PSG
Possibly a match Strasbourg vs PSG, still unscheduled and maybe they will schedule it until after the 2nd leg.
13-14 April 21:00 PSG vs FC Bayern

At least both teams have a top-of-the-league clash right before the 1st leg.

Except Porto and even them, not of the other teams are easy opponents. Any draw would've been difficult anyway. This is a very good CL Quarterfinals on paper. I'm excited for it, now let the show begin!

You would have higher chance if this was one-legged I think, but I still hope you guys proceed. I want German Semis.

Final! Time for Flick's revenge 34 years later, Bayern v Porto 8)
To be honest I’d rather face a team with a super frontline than a super backline

I’m fairly confident about PSG to be honest. Not so much about the other games after that if we qualify.

Mee too... so we better get eliminated now...

F**k off with this annoying argument. It's better for the club if we lose in the final than in the semi-final. And it's better for the club to lose in the semi-final than the quarter-finals. If we aren't going to win it, the club still wants as much TV revenue, prestige, UEFA coefficient points etc as possible.

If you don't have the balls or the heart to watch losses, that's on you. Stick to children's cartoons if you always want the 'good' to win. Don't root for us to lose just because you're scared we could lose later on. Seriously, grow some balls mate :(

I agree with you in this.

Dislike, hate, love Juventus or whatever you want, but they played 3 straight finals in the 90's and won only one.
They played 2 finals in 2015 and 2017 and lost both finals, but that doesn't mean they don't want to win another one as it was the case in the 2017/2018.

No matter if they lost 7 finals and won only 2 in their history, they shall always look for new finals all over again and go all-in to win them. They reached and played them even if they lost.

Just like us in 5 occasions. We lost 1987, 1999, 2001, 2010, 2012, but who cares... every team plays to win.[/quote]I like my 2001 better than yours...
