Truth is somewhere in between. I think the world is generally more capitalist now but as you rightfully point out the world is also richer now.

Borussia Moenchengladbach want to play next month’s Champions League knock-out tie with Manchester City in Denmark due to restrictions on foreign arrivals in Germany, sporting director Max Eberl said on Friday.

This is so stupid

What's the point of playing home and away if the games are not gonna be played even in your home country !

With so many restrictions UEFA should go for another KO tournament like they did last year in Lisbon. They just need to choose a different city and that's it.

When would a finals tournament be played this year though? Most leagues finish only three weeks for the euros starts, and UEFA seem pretty certain that it will be happening this year

Not if they don’t find a venue soon! Do they seriously think they’re going to get away with so much travelling in just 4 months’ time?

Can you imagine Leipzig being eliminated by the away goal rule, having played his home game in a different country and in an empty stadium ?????

The least UEFA should do is abolish the away goal rule for the time being. And unlike a KO single legged tournament, that wouldn't affect the TV revenue. It's a no brainer IMO

3 Hungarians play for them. :D Orban, Gulacsi and Szoboszlai. :D They are like home and you're gonna like the stadium.

I don’t think the format of games all over Europe will happen but I do think it will happen in one country. I think Russia
