So glad we never hired this clown of a coach Pochetino.

PSG legitimately might be the most mentally weak team I've ever seen in my life

Pochettino is actually the perfect coach for PSG. Fits so well with PSG’s mentality. Both very weak.

PSG could not have made a bigger mistake with Poch. Guy who never won anything trying to make a champions team out of drama queens and ego maniacs. Its just destined to fail.

Yes, even the most mentally weak team in the world was able to embarrass our clown show of a backline for the first half of the first leg

The one with Süle and Hernandez?

It doesn’t speak well for us in more than just that aspect... This year‘s edition was probably easier to win than last year’s... Again those missed chances (so far, only one) will haunt us for years...

Aaaaaaaaaah it enjoys me so much to see that bitch Neymar crying.. Fills my heart with love, the hate i have for that diva. But in all honesty.. to know one of these 4 weak semi teams will actually win this years CL is just cringe.. Thats the only thing i am sad about that we got defeated so dumb.

first half of the first leg

Nah, that pairing didn't concede at all...
The one with Lucas at CB with Sule didn't concede..
The one with Lucas at CB with Boateng conceded 1 in ~140 minutes..
The one with Alaba at CB with Sule conceded 2 inside of 30 minutes..
Common denominators and all that...

It's interesting that you mention that because I think we played clearly better and deserved to win more in the first leg than in the second

But as Pep just said, every small detail matters when it comes to the Champions League.

PSG were being superior to City in the 1st leg
, but then City managed to score 2 very lucky goals and turned things around.

Last night PSG were missing Mbappe which clearly was a huge blow for them too.

Against us it was the total opposite. We were the ones missing half of our squad and an unusual and terrible mistake by Neuer put as in a bad situation.

No way

Just because he is a c*nt and a diver doesn't mean he is overrated. He's been a world class player for the majority of his career and I'd actually say he's been criminally underrated

Pep has now beaten Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and PSG in CL both home and away in just over a year  :coffee:

He was one of the major reasons why PSG failed so miserably yesterday. Was even worse than Neymar, with poor decision making and lack of decisiveness. they both are good when Mbappe is making games for them and they try to flip ball here and there plus make some eye-catching feints.

He is 33 y.o and past his prime. But from 2010 to 2016 he was simply amazing. It didn't matter what position he played in. Even when he played in midfield with Carlo Ancelotti back in 13/14 Di Maria was one of Real Madrid best players as they won the Spanish Cup and the Champions League

He had an outstanding World Cup 2014 too and luckily for Germany he couldn't play the final due to injury

Then he had a good World Cup 2018 and even scored an amazing goal vs France

Since he moved to PSG he's had up and downs, but he usually shows up in big games and he had a very good performance last year in the final vs Bayern

"Past his prime" players usually begin to lack speed, it has nothing to do with decision making. In this case, I am not talking about moments like the one he missed the empty net. He appears to be good when the opponent is chasing, while he and Neymar backheel-pass to each other. When you need him, he's nowhere to be found. Mbappe scored all decisive goals singlehandedly while those 2 were just clowning all along.

And as for the NTs, It just happens, all teams miss players here and there. its actually Germany who was unlucky to miss its best player (Reus) in that world cup. if you remember the final well, missed Khedira and the player replacing him (Kramer) also being injured in the first half.

RM sold Di Maria in his very prime to 7th placed PL team (Man U) not even qualifying for Euro cups, so yeah he is not that big deal, typical Argentinian crybaby.
