Poch really sh*t this game (and potentially the tie) right away, didn't he? They straight-up had City on the ropes and for whatever reason decided to start sitting deeper and deeper and putting more men behind the ball. Totally invited this to happen.

And I think he would suit us well, what makes you think he‘s playing badly (which I assume was the reason for your post)...

See edit, but every indication was that we *were* willing to meet his clause.

He was entirely overran for the first 60 minutes of the game and has never once lived up to his price tag. I guarantee you without even the tiniest sliver of doubt that if we had paid that price for him it'd be like the Lucas criticisms and then some. At least with Lucas we have the excuse that the coach doesn't play him.
Maybe...

We just needed a midfielder so much more IMHO...

And you say he was overrun... Maybe... But isn’t he left alone by Guardiola‘s system as well?

Either way, it would actually still add to the criticism if what you say is true...

Nah, can't have it both ways. Can't criticize Brazzo for not being willing to meet the release clause (when again, by all reports, he was) while at the same time criticizing Brazzo for not being able to finish the deal while at the same time admitting you'd criticize Brazzo for the signing if he HAD finished it... Gotta pick one

Feel free to watch any other of City's matches since he's signed with them...by the same measure you use to say Lucas hasn't lived up to the price tag, let me know what Rodri's done to live up to his...

Not me who said that. In fact, I told friends:
Navas vs Bayern = CL 2020 final Neuer
Navas vs everyone else = PSG 1st leg 2021 Neuer

Well, sure, just like it doesn't speak much towards the judgment of those criticizing him, given that they share the same opinion on the matter...

Now more convinced than ever if we didn't have a pathological compulsion to starting Alaba in central defense we'd have one foot in the final by now.

Anyways City are going to win by like 4 goals next week, aren't they?

There was definitely a luck factor in both goals but IMO he is much more to blame for the first than the second.
