Yeah I also hope for a great Bayern transfer summer - both not happening...

Most likely they'll drop it to a 1 year ban and that'll be the end of that. I think they will have to sell KDB if they get any sort of ban. He's already stated if there's a ban he'll start looking for a move

Just checked it out:

MEDIA RELEASE
FOOTBALL–UEFA COMPETITIONS
MANCHESTER CITY FC DID NOT DISGUISE EQUITY FUNDING AS SPONSORSHIP CONTRIBUTIONS BUT DID FAIL TO COOPERATE WITH THE UEFA AUTHORITIES
CAS DECISION: EXCLUSION FROM PARTICIPATION IN UEFA CLUB COMPETITIONS LIFTED; FINE MAINTAINED BUT REDUCED TO EUR 10 MILLION

source: https://www.tas-cas.org/fileadmin/user_ ... cision.pdf

So i don't know the full story, and i don't know how MCFC submitted their information.

But i'm very curious to see where was the confusion.

FFP is dead, and unfortunately all the cynics are proven right once again (myself included). Oh well...

probably impossible to do but I’d love every decent club who works for their success to pull out of all UEFA competitions. Leave PSG, $hitty and Chelsea to fight among themselves in their own shitty competition

This is article 56 of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations:

Article 56 - Responsibilities of the licensee
The licensee must:
  1. cooperate with the licensor and the UEFA Club Financial Control Body in respect of their requests and enquiries;
  2. provide the licensor and the UEFA Club Financial Control Body with all necessary information and/or relevant documents to fully demonstrate that the monitoring requirements are fulfilled, as well as any other document requested and deemed to be relevant for club monitoring decision-making, by the deadline set by the licensor and/or the UEFA administration (the reporting entity or combination of entities in respect of which information is required must be the same as for club licensing);
  3. confirm that all the submitted documentation and information are complete and accurate;
  4. promptly notify the licensor in writing about any subsequent events that constitute a significant change to the information previously submitted to the licensor, including a change of legal form or legal group structure.

If that is the only breach then where is UEFA's proof that they were taking money directly from the principality of Abu Dhabi beside taking money from Etihad?

So, they shit once again on the entire world. 2 year ban... :lol: :lol: :lol:

It's a pure big business, that's what football in the last 10-15 years is and this confirms, not some sport, "fair play" with KVAR etc. :D

FFP must be removed once and for all. It serves for literally nothing.

I’ve been saying it for years. FFP works AGAINST small/poor teams, not in favour.

If UEFA weren’t money whores themselves they could just license the clubs like domestic leagues do with denying access to teams not aboding to preset rules...

However... Not happening...

How would this help with regards to enforcement of bans if they go with bribe money to CAS?

That’s your assumption... Not trying to defend them, but I don’t even think bribing was necessary... I would have expected the same outcome with any other top club...

It’s pretty easy though... They cheated, CAS acknowledged that, but most of it is time-barred cause they obstructed proceedings and investigations... Order every wannabe participant to 100% open the books BEFORE every season and you got your paperwork ready on demand...
