It should go to a country with a mild Summer climate.

Well, it would give a purpose to those thousands of slaves who died building their stadiums.

Manchester City are preparing for one of the biggest weeks in the club's history, with their appeal against a two-year ban from European competition starting at the Court of Arbitration for Sport on Monday.

City will miss out on the prestige of playing in the Champions League for the next two seasons and estimated revenues of £200m unless they convince three judges in the three-day video conference hearing that they have not broken UEFA's financial fair play (FFP) rules.

A decision is expected before this season's Champions League is due to restart in August. [source]

They argued that there are no teams from Portugal left...

What a stupid reason. Like no team had ever played a CL final in their home country. Tbh if Portugal's corona numbers are good i don't have a problem with it

I agree I’ve already said that I wouldn’t be too disappointed not to win it with that system. Let $hitty have it

There are also no teams from North Korea left, why not play there?

Again favoring Spanish teams btw...

2019/20 UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread

Postby FCBayernMunchen » Sun Jun 07, 2020 9:11 pm

The change in system is being played up too much imo. It is just as valid a title as any. Playing two fewer games can be a disadvantage as much as an advantage. Take Liverpool last season who lost the first leg vs Barca 3-0.
