I really think they need to start thinking about how to adjust next season if we are to finish this season (and I think that should be the priority). Throwing around these random dates is ridiculous. It seems unlikely we’ll be playing in June/July.

I think they need to seriously consider starting next season in January. One round for domestic leagues, KO starting with a round of 32 for the CL. Not ideal, but the situation is what it is and this season should be prioritised.

What's going to happen to players whose contract ends on 30th June 2020 with regards to the CL ending after this date? For example, if we make the final would we be unable to field Coutinho and Odriozola?

The rules from football to a real job have to be separated in these circumstances
If fifa and uefa decide and it is safe... contracts will have to be extended.

Solution for next Season is to start in Oct and skip the winter break.

Maybe the UcL can be formed by groups made up of three instead of four.. in order to reduce games and therefore traveling

FIFA is recommending temporary extensions but of course this is easier said than done. You can’t force a player to sign an extension, and clubs who have already signed agreements starting on 1st July might bring up legal challenges. It will have to come down to a spirit of sportsmanship and love for the game, I think.

Keep in mind many countries don’t have a winter break though, plus we might still be playing this season in September.

Doesn't really seem that long ago. I remember thinking that I hope the virus doesn't spread from Italy and force us all to lock down and stop playing football and make this win mean nothing

Speak for yourself. It feels at least twice as long to me - same with my trip to Italy.

My trip to South Africa in January seems like years ago mind you. About a week after I came back you started hearing the odd news story here and there about a new virus in China

In my case Italy went from a few cases to crisis epicentre while I was actually there. It feels like a different age when you could actually think of Italy and think of their art and excellent food and hundreds of people out in squares.
