Don’t get too excited... I’m sure they’ll bend their own rules.

Also read there have been a few other cases of shirt exchanges in the EL.

Don't worry, Neymar will play the final...the UEFA Protocol only states that

"Players are recommended to refrain from swapping their shirts"

and that

"Non-compliance with the obligations set out in the UEFA Protocol may lead to disciplinary measures in accordance with the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations."

recommended ≠ obliged

We should t make too much of today's game. Leipzig was brutally bad.

Mbappe and Neymar can create goals out of nowhere and Di Maria is playing good football again. Those 3 alone can create goals regardless of how shitty their midfield is. And the scary part is that Neymar and Mbappe haven't even scored yet. So it is likely that they will score in the final
Those 2 and Di Maria are not 33 y.o Messi or Suarez. They're fast and run all the time. If we make it to the final Flick will need to adapt his tactics because a high defensive line like the one vs Barça could cost us the game
I still think we are way better than PSG but in a final it would be 50-50.

Definitely they have firepower upfront, the game against Atalanta shows what offensive quality gives you, in 8 minutes they produced 4 clear-cut chances to score and they normally scored 2 to seal the come-back and go through, that's exactly what the CL is for one good mini-period into the game with that kind of individual quality and the game can turn into sh!t or just a minor defensive error...

On the other hand someone could say the same thing for PSG defense against the best striker in the world and the whole supporting cast from wings to midfield which they score at ease and assist as well, we do possess a great weapon now that we're fresh, the gegenpressing.

Sadly Leipzig was a pale shadow yesterday when compared how they played against Atletico. Passing, defending, attack was quite chaotic and full of mistakes.

If they would have played as well as they did in quarter-final, it would have been a different game.

Heck, even 2 from 3 goals came from huge mistakes. And when it was 0:3 with still 30+min to play, Leipzig was completely frustrated and given up.

Not sure if it was purely lack of talent or inexperience on this stage, but RBL seemed lost since the 1st minute.

PSG haven't even faced a proper tier 1 team this year in the UCL knockout phases -
R-16 vs BVB,
Quarter vs Atalanta
Semis vs RBL.

And even then PSG won just by 1 goal (3:2 vs BVB and 2:1 vs Atalanta). With exception yesterday of course.

With all due respect, but PSG have had a super lucky draw so far.

If Bayern make it to the final, I predict a pretty comfortable and high-score win. Something like BAY 4/5:2/3 PSG with complete Bayern domination and few brilliant counter attacks from the likes of Neymar/Mbappe & co

Makes them all the more dangerous... You do know these tournaments are almost never won by teams kicking out a series of big guns right?

True, but we show year after year that they are much worse than us.

Right now BVB and RBL are nowhere near FCB level.

Seriously, we are playing the best football we have played in years and we are in a top shape. I would say that we are the best performing team in Europe atm. We would be favorites against any team in the world.

How can you be so afraid of PSG? Yes, they have a decent chance to win, but it's not like we are facing legendary Barca/RM teams in the final.

If we make it to the final, we are clear favorites.

This.

It’s a game that can go either way. I will definitely be nervous and the pressure will be on us. BUT it’s clear that they’re the ones who should be scared and we should be confident.

As far as I know Bayern Munich have only lost one match vs French opposition in the Knockout Rounds of a European Competition. That was in 1969.

69/70 European Cup - First Round, 1st leg vs St. Etienne - 2:0 win (Sept. 17, 1969)
69/70 European Cup - First Round, 2nd leg vs St. Etienne - 0:3 loss (Oct. 1, 1969)
74/75 European Cup - Semifinals, 1st leg vs St. Etienne - 0:0 draw (Apr. 4, 1975)
74/75 European Cup - Semifinals, 2nd leg vs St. Etienne - 2:0 win (Apr. 23, 1975)
75/76 European Cup - Final vs St. Etienne - 1:0 win (May 12, 1976)
95/96 UEFA Cup - Final, 1st leg vs Bordeaux - 2:0 win (May 1, 1996)
95/96 UEFA Cup - Final, 2nd leg vs Bordeaux - 3:1 win (May 15, 1996)
09/10 UCL - Semifinals, 1st leg vs Lyon - 1:0 win (Apr. 21, 2010)
09/10 UCL - Semifinals, 2nd leg vs Lyon - 3:0 win (Apr. 27, 2010)
11/12 UCL - Quarterfinals, 1st leg vs Marseille - 2:0 win (Mar. 28, 2012)
11/12 UCL - Quarterfinals, 2nd leg vs Marseille - 2:0 win (Apr. 3, 2012)

19/20 UCL - Semifinal vs Lyon - ???

OK, when we win the treble we would have eliminated two French squads.
