You have forgotten that all teams want to play at home in front of their fans once this pandemic is over.
Yes one leg.... sudden death.FCBayernMunchen wrote:Do you mean one leg?ramsej84 wrote:If this formula of final eight works out, it should be considered for the future

we are quite used to ramsej saying things that make no sense...
I admit I’m looking forward to it but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the CL we know and love. Maybe a tournament that happens every 2 or 4 years that is just a KO.ramsej84 wrote:Yes one leg.... sudden death.FCBayernMunchen wrote:Do you mean one leg?ramsej84 wrote:If this formula of final eight works out, it should be considered for the future
A mini tournament
No, actually it’s MORE money for UEFA…tuscanybayern wrote:If we keep this format everyone lose...
much more expensive for the fans
less games and money for UEFA
less TV money and ticket sales for football clubs
some clubs will just park the bus to get to the penalties
never going to happen

Where about half if the - immensely expensive - tickets are sold by UEFA directly? Why do you think Blatter spoke of being an NPO so often?tuscanybayern wrote:#12 wrote:No, actually it’s MORE money for UEFA…tuscanybayern wrote:If we keep this format everyone lose...

Big news: FIFA and UEFA generate money through their competitions... And when they play in neutral venues, they usually pay none of the costs but take most of the income... Which then consequently is not revenue, but income...
