Not sure that is something to be celebrated...is it not in our best interest for the rest of the BL to do well in Europe?
I don't care.

Typical German team in the CL and then the comments and statements, headlines: "Brave Hoffenheim... Unlucky Hoffenheim... lost despite the fact they played best football in the group, etc.". Orthodox Bundesliga fans shall celebrate them although in Germany they aren't going to receive anything good or positive since for them it's Hoppenheim, an artificial club and against/gegen die deutsche Fußballkultur und Tradition".

Nobody cares! It's the end of second decade of the 21st century, not the beginning of the first one. Invest more to see CL and EL every season, not once in a while, ie once in 5-6 years!

Same story as with BVB 11/12, happy attacking football but also naive. Nagelsmann will surely learn from this.

Another sad CL performance from BVB, it looked like the team was satisfied with a draw, didn't really push hard to score a winning goal. We secured a place in last 16 at least. A match to forget and move on I guess, hopefully I won't see this kind of attitude in the league.

Can't see tweet? Click here!

actually Klopp was right... the Ref was super in favor of P$G (Mansour must have paid quite a sum)
The Ref did not even wanted to signal the penalty !

I heard that PSG didn't get a clear penalty in the second half.

So now Bernat became a good player because of Uli's uncalled attack ?
Juan Bernat is a below average LB, Bayern did the right thing to ditched him and his performance against Sevilla was one of the most horrific individual performances from a Bayern player in the CL, Rafinha(a RB) was subbed in and he looked like R.Carlos at his super prime.

Now, LFC was pathetic against PSG. The Frenchmen overpowered them and especially in the first half was like watching two teams from different division levels. Liverpool is in a bad shape actually and I really wonder if they can make it to next round which is quite an embarrassment.
As things stands now only Juventus looks solid as a team to go all the way to semifinals/final. CR7 boosted them big time, they play the same kind of boring football but now they have the man and the self-confidence to get the job done(ending games) the other team who looks solid offensively at least is City but we know better than anybody else that with Pep in the K.O games you're going to get slaughtered in at least one game.

He is playing as LWB so there are three men covering his ass. Also the new role is giving him the chance to join the attack. Something in which is he is not bad at all.

It's official: VAR is going to be used in the Champions League round of 16 onwards this season. Two years too late, but I'll take it!
