How surprising! Real Madrid might now actually win five on the bounce again

BTW, very pleased with the Draw. Bayern fans will get to visit three beautiful capital cities in Amsterdam, Athens and Lisbon. Good draw for Kovac as well so that he can ease into coaching at a big club.

If we are to be regarded as a contender for the European Cup then anything less than 16 points in this group would be disappointing.

What's interesting about the draw is that Bayern play at home to Ajax 11 days before Germany plays away to The Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League.

those four games (FCB v Ajax & Deu v Ned) are going to hot indeed...
I don't exclude violent clashes between opposing fans

What???
I fear for our fans as I don't deem them to be that type to indulge into violent clashes.
They are not used to it...

Lol Dutch and Germans? Won't be any violence compared to what would've been in Eastern Europe. At worst, they'll just throw snaring dirty looks at each other.

Snaring, dirty look? Isn’t that the default facial expression of the dutch?

yes, this is really interesting , how do people from Asia see us Europeans?

I have to say that I tend to recognize Japanese from Chinese, and Koreans, Thai and Sri Lankan, Indians and Filipinos

Tbh I can always tell they’re not from the country I'm in - say Thailand - but I'm having trouble knowing where they’re from exactly... I do NOT think they all look alike, but I think their voices sometimes are very mich alike

Ajax ultras have a violent past, which is the reason why the biggest Dutch game Ajax - Feyenoord and the return fixture has been played without away fans for years now. More recently Ajax fans got into a heated situation with the fans of FC Utrecht, also causing those matches to be played without away fans.

In general, Dutch fans are more hostile towards rival fans, than fans from another country...as far as I can recall, no trouble has occurred in recent years when foreign clubs came to visit. Schalke being the last German club, two years ago.

I think you mean the Feyenoord fans who destroyed a historical fountain in Rome? Or is there another incident that I'm forgetting. The Feyenoord one was the big one...very different type of fan though. Feyenoord, like Schalke, are more the 'working class' type of fan (no disrespect, I'm working class...but I think you know what I mean). Ajax has always been compared to us, when it comes to the type of fans it attracts.

PSV fans got bad press two years ago when their fans made homeless people in Spain do "tricks", after which they threw coins on them...

I'm going to be in Athens during our game against AEK, any help with getting tickets?
I've never done anything like this, so absolutely any help regarding tickets, stay in Athens, going to a game or whatever is highly appriciated.
