Yeah he was never eliminated as early as Kovac... And he didn’t even need "time" for that

Also the ball was deflected by a Shitty player... Which is enough for an offside call... Legit...

But that Spurs' defending when that offside happened... It's so disgusting that they didn't think about playing a counter-attack, disgraceful. But that's nothing new over the last 10 years, teams have no clue how to defend themselves and their result advantage. Modern footballers...

How can that be offside?

Bernardo didn't pass the ball and didn't even know Agüero was there, it was a deflection

Just swap roles. Do you think that if Bernardo had passed the ball to Agüero and Eriksen had deflected, Agüero would have been on side? [-X

This tie reminded me of Bayern - Atletico in 2016. City had a missed penalty, plenty or chances, a questionable disallowed goal... but lost because Ederson and Laporte ruined all the team's good effort with 2 terrible mistakes each

Unlucky, but you just can't miss an away penalty and then gift two goals like that. That's a big handicap to overcome

In that case Aguero would still be off. Hypothetically Eriksen would have had to deliberately attempt to play the ball.
A deflection off an attacking player = offside
A deflection off a defending player = offside
A deliberate attempt to play the ball from an attacking player = offside
A deliberate attempt to play the ball from a defending player = onside
I still don’t agree with the writing of the deliberate attempt from a defender rule as it allows attackers to influence play easily from an offside position, but I don’t know how I would rectify that.

Happened once with Barca I think.

I also do not think it was offside.

It was a textbook offside call. The referee didn't even need to check the video. VAR proved itself very worthy last night.

The decision was called in rhe VAR room, that's all what we have to say. They checked the videos from different angles and that's it.

I didn't think it was an offside until the replay and the view from different angles.

But still, it doesn't change my mind that extremely disgusting and amateurish defending almost costed Tottenham a semifinal.
The way they defended themselves and, played when they won the ball was like in some 4 football division.

So it is Liverpool v Barca and Ajax v Hostpurs right?

Juve must really be in a desperate state atm.... they missed a big opportunity to reach another final...

TBH Barca v Liverpool should have been the final... they are the best two teams

1.) I know what you mean but it IS the rule...

2.) Who made the terrible mistakes for us in 2016? Also, ours was a home penalty...

Nope... As it stands Ajax are the best team... Not because of names, but because of the level of maturity their game displays...
Also, the worst thing that could happen to this club - bar Uli extending for another few years - would be Liverpool winning the CL...
