Considering UEFA's obsession with money and viewer numbers I think these early kick-offs will be reserved for smaller teams. That way, those who are still at work (in Malta we share a timezone with most European nations with big teams, and the English have it even worse) won't affect viewer numbers for the big games, but those who are free at that time will increase viewer numbers for the smaller games.
