Second match for this year's BL season.
A positive outcome is a must after disappointing lost in the match vs Gladbach.

I hope that our players show the same passion they showed vs Brazil with NT.
I also hope that we see less pointless possession and crosses going nowhere and more deadly attacks, right to the point.

I think we'll bounce back with a solid win accompanied with a clean sheet. The team will be hella motivated, and maybe Neuer can put in a Superman performance this time.

If we don't win 3-0, then a poor draw, or maybe even a loss. Don't see us winning by a whisker.

We'll win but it will be close. Not because I do not trust in the team, but because we only have 2 days of training to make things right after the first game and because Wolfsburg seem to be in good form

He's not gonna play. Check Crochef's post in the injury thread. Anyway, as wrong as it may sound, I have a feeling we might perform better without Robben, it's just that our play has gotten so predictable with him. Pass the ball to Robben, Robben cuts inside and shoots. I just hope Heynckes deals with the situation correctly.

With this purchase, bayern achieved a champions league final.

And is nothing wrong with him. His body does not respond well.

But i agree with you, that all these injuries get me angry too. I think that bayern must buy another RM for next season.

Not sure about the poll with "Bayern not only wins but takes revenge for that 5-1", but I think Bayern will win. Of course I just hexed them by saying that, but I think without Robben then Wolfsburg will have to play instead of just playing to shut down Robben. Of course they will just double team Ribéry. But Robben really didn't impress me the first game, and if he wasn't injured for this game I still would have said he might need more time before starting -- but this now confirms it. This might also force more team unity instead of relying on Robben to save the day. My biggest concern about this game is our defensive capabilities after the blunder of the first game -- particularly Neuer communicating with his backline and not getting mixed up, and I think Magath will look to exploit that.

I want to see players like Müller and Kroos and Schweini step up -- I think Müller is more established and more capable than Götze and is that type of player for us -- I really think Götze is in a hot patch at the moment, but he isn't quite yet established. So without Robben we will probably see Müller on the right, Ribéry left with Kroos behind the striker and Schweini and Gustavo pairing up -- though I would rather see Schweini and Tymo pair up for this game as we need more of an aggressive DM against Wolfsburg.

Overall I am sure Magath did his homework and will use Bayern's first game as a basis for what to exploit. It all comes down to our hunger and willingness to really play well -- its in our hands, as I think Wolfsburg first game doesn't show that they are strong, they have many of their own weaknesses -- a battle of the tacticians between Heynckes and Magath.

Bayern has already followed 3 bad starts in the Bundesliga, one with Klinsmann and two with Van Gaal. 5 of those 6 semesters playing badly.

Bayern must finish these negative balance right now.

Quite the ideal team on paper..
Mueller as we saw in the last game isnt effective as LW.. He is good as a RW... Also, from the game vs Brazil, Kroos was really good in b/w Gomez and Schweinsteiger in the centre.. So, its ideal to place Kroos as CAM..
We cant ask for more with this lineup..
I wish we score a early goal in first half and later bring Usami into play. I am really curious to see the Japanese kid play..
