lucas was in group training but Coutinho is injured

Everyone except Corentin and Coutinho is fit for the game. There is a chance that we can see up to 5 substitutions per match, but it's still not clear if it's going to be used in Germany.

Can someone explain the reason why they feel like 5 subs make sense? Is it because of congestion of matches?

Yup... Plus likeliness of being played in very hot weather - and possibly even some players being sick...

The reasons that I can think of are:

1) Too many games in a short period of time, 9 match dates in 6 weeks) although one can argue that without Champions League it is a normal workload). The idea is that teams can play their starters in every game and keep their minutes down with more subs.
2) More options to give minutes to the subs as a way to shore up their declining valuations due to inactivity.

Haha mine grows too quickly. I think if I were to leave it until December I would look more like Gandalf than Santa.
