I like that guy and am surprised that Arsenal loaned him...Awax wrote:Guendouzi is bossing the midfield since he came on, hence Tolisso's intro. And it won't change a thing lol

Immobile will not miss those chances...

You mean "for once" he should learn 4-1-4-1 doesn't work?
Sorry, feeling silly. Probably the weekend.

However that chance should not have happened. We were leading 1-0 in the final minutes of the game and we were caught with both Alaba and Suele past the halfway line. I don't know if Flick instructs the players to play that high regardless of the circumstances or they just f*cked up.
But it is concerning because literally any team can easily have clear chances against us. We're heavily relying on Neuer and Lewandowski at the moment. Any of those missing and we're done.
Last year things were a little bit different. Davies was playing LB and he was recovering most of those clear 1v1 situations and Thiago was also doing the dirty work in midfield, so at the end of the day Neuer didn't have to save our a$$es so often
But now we literally gift a 1v1 chance every 10-15 minutes. And I have the feeling that we keep playing more and more offensive every game

re the off - side... one cm mistake and we are done...
we can't play like this anymore especially in the ucl... Lazio will score a lot of goals for sure... so will Palmeiras...
I don’t fully agree with your last point because most of the big chances yesterday were offside. I don’t think it’s fair to count those. They are proof the high line is doing its job.
However you are 100% right about everything else.
For what it’s worth, it is not only for conceded chances that I dislike 4-1-4-1. It has never offered us any benefit so far, we actually score LESS with it. It’s sacrificing a lot of control for almost nothing.
