Too bad that we also didn't put Manuel Wintzheimer on the bench, too. Now that would be also nice.

I know he most likely won't do it and certainly not to the extent we want but I still disagree with him.

Look buddy, we've had this discussion for years every year now... Our strength in 2013 was that all players were „voll im Saft“ as we say in Germany (meaning something like they were active, lively and had match practice...)... And people have been WHINING like fucking babies for years about rest and whatnot... And it always turned out to be a big DISADVANTAGE to have so much rest... And I still think it is...

Injuries: can happen all the time, even in regeneration tomorrow...

Batista Meier could also play instead of Bernat but U-19 had a very important game today so better if we took only one player from them.

Edit: maybe Pantovic or Evina could replace Bernat. I would prefer some young player from our academy over Bernat who seems to be on the exit door.

Absolutely.
Also one of the reasons why Ribéry played that much even though Coman was fit. Jupp wants every player to be in good shape.
And it seems to be paying off...
Sané ---- Lewandowski ---- Gnabry
Davies - Thiago - Kimmich - Dest
Hernández -- Alaba -- Upamecano
--------------- Neuer ----------------

Call me whatever; if I see Wagner coming at me for a challenge, I'm letting him jump alone. Rather be alive than sorry.

Everytime I see Robben keep repeating the exact same thing with expectation of different outcome, my blood boils
