Yes, he was by far the more creative playmaker. I didn´t like when Ancelotti subbed out Alonso and placed Thiago as the deep lying playmaker but it sure as hell paid off. :P

It was a good game and we got 3 points and a clean sheet. That's all what matters currently.
I will not look objectively into the players' performances as long as we keep getting the results.

But good performances need to be appreciated:
Neuer,Martinez,Lewa and Hummels for me.

MOTM: Lewa 1 goal 1 assist and the match finished 2-0.

What are you people up to with Thiago. He wasn't at his very best, but it was still a very good performance. He was by far our best MF until Vidal came in. Also played some outstanding through balls into the area.

Anyone who bothered to check his stats, will have seen that his numbers were very decent last night.
Shared best dribbler (with Ribery)
Shared best tackler (with Lahm)
Second best passer (only 1% lower than Lahm)
Never dispossessed
Even won 2 aerials with his tiny ass

With a 7,9 he was third best after Lewy and Javi.

That midfield in the first half reminded me of Atletico and Saul... no passing grade for any midfielder in the 1st half.

Can't be the best when you've got to compensate for your partners in midfield, play with the best and you'll be better yourself as well...

I'm just saying that a lot of fans always find it very easy to find a stick to beat Thiago (or Bernat or Alonso) with.

We won 2-0 in one of the toughest Bundesliga games early in the season and missing Vidal and Boateng. Can't really complain to be honest but it's normal to focus on the flaws.
