Well what was said about Marcelo was wrong. He wasn't good defensively at some point, but is now elite in all aspects. Kimmich won't have the intelligence to realise that, if his insistence on "being a right back like Dani Alves" is any indicator.
IMO, all about the balance. Our problem is that NONE of our defenders know how to defend or want to defend. That's kinda normal for modern FBs, the problem is that our CBs also think they are midfielders or sometimes even wingers (Süle sometimes). No one wants to defend. Everyone wants to attack...
