Favre: "Whether we lose or win, we always learn something. We have many young players who need their time. At the age of 19 or 20, you are not mature yet. Looking at the season, we have made good progress, but we still have much to do, including tactics. We have to defend and attack cleverly. Bayern remains Bayern. We have to show a top performance. From defense to attack, they have a lot of experience. "

Dortmund and... ?

Gladbach... Leipzig debatable...

And Gladbach already pulled our pants down pretty badly...

I can accept Dortmund, even though I disagree. But Gladbach and RB Leipzig? Are you serious?

First, non of them play CL football this year. Gladbach is not playing any European competition at all while RB Leipzig is on risk of being eliminated in the EL group stage.

Gladbach are on par with us on BL, but they just lost 5-0 at home against Leverkusen of all teams in Pokal. I don't know if you are the biggest troll on the Internet, but let's make this simple

Team A) 20 points in BL, CL group leaders, 3rd round of Pokal

Team B) 20 points in BL, no European football, eliminated from Pokal

Team C) 18 points in BL, 2nd place EL group, 3rd round of Pokal

Now tell me which team is better [/quote]

Yeah let’s make this simple, we most likely won’t male first place in a "CL" group that’s not worthy of the name... We are behind Gladbach and Leipzig is close by and we played two abysmal Pokal matches...
There’s no trolling in saying this one game is not nearly enough to claim "we are still the best team in Germany/Bundesliga"... You can claim that when we lead the table after 17 games and have faced each opponent once...

No difference anyway, since we’re not gonna win...

Yeah - too old for a female companion though...
I think there’s a high chance of Ribéry not finishing this one - and not cause Kovac subbed him off...

Why is Hitz in the line-up? Burki will start. EDIT: Apparently Burki is a doubt for the game, first time hearing about it. I think he should play though.

Alcacer had two poor games in a row (against Wolfsburg and Atletico) so I'm interested if he plays or will Gotze play - he has performed quite well lately.

If he has an attitude during the training... his place is on the bench.

Well done to the coach for that.

We just have a coach who rather muscles and run instead of class and creativity.

He would start Khedira and Matuidi instead of Kroos and Modric.

Kovac is the same guy that is saying - Players needs to show top performance while training and on the pitch, but at the same time Ribery is probably going to start tonight.

And who is going to lose more from not playing him ? James himself, or the team ? Because in 2 games against them last season, he scored 1 and assisted 4 times.

I'm always saying that the team comes first, but to put the only player who is creating something up front against your biggest rival at the position we are at the moment just don't make sense. Bench him after this game, bench him against Stuttgart, Fortunta etc..
