I couldn't remember that 7-0 away win in December 2013 so I went and checked the thread and man... look at the off the ball movement in this goal

That's what you call tactics and having a game plan.

Kovač on Ulreich:

Sven is going to play the next games

Shit.

We don't want to take any risks with Manu.

Damn

We have absolute confidence in Sven

Why?

he has earned it.

When?

I'm very optimistic

Good

My team is RED
It's Bayern München till I'm DEAD

Our defenders will be less confident knowing that behind them there is no Manu... Therefore they will surely be prone for mistakes...

Right, as opposed to the rest of the season with Kovacball, when it was all smooth sailing

I remember that goal. The movement was beautiful. Ever since Guardiola left, we've become so static, it's painful to watch old matches.

Well, let’s not forget he had a team with wc players in his prime, now we have a few good players who have seen better days...

The squad has certainly declined, but that's not the main thing. Even when Ancelotti or Jupp (ID even Stretch it to Pep's last two seasons), movement was inexistent.

Well, don’t you think it’s a factor? Even the best coach cannot make ostriches fly

Well, don’t you think it’s a factor? Even the best coach cannot make ostriches fly [/quote]I think it was a secondary factor. Our players are/were not THAT bad not THAT old. IMO the primary reason why we fell was much worse coaching, combined with some kinda loss of will.

But the Jupp who came to put down a fire mid season didn't do much changing at that point. Bayern had already gone stale and he only added a bit of salt instead of throwing the stew out as he should have.
