A little awkward interpretation IIRC
I'm paraphrasing his paraphrase, so I might be introducing some noise, fwiw. What was your interpretation?

I didn’t get 100% since I got a package just at that moment

But what I got is that he thinks the game is getting more physical and running is more important all the time and that it‘s not inherent to his system to HAVE to run more (in comparison to Flick, about 3km per game)

Sané is quickly getting back to his best. It seems all he needed was to switch to the left. Flick failed in getting him to his best.

As I type, Gnabry scores. This team is in a state of grace.

Exactly, I’m sure what he was implying is that the earlier that you end up in an advantageous position, the less likely you are to have to sprint to get there. Early off the ball movement and anticipation will mean you don’t have to exert as much energy.

Im noticing goretzka is more involved with build up and kimmich gets further forwards some times. I think thats good as it makes us less predictable.

Have to say stanisic crosses are awfull so far.

Really happy so far and i have to say i agree with nagelsmann with the running to much. If we are able to play in a way which takes less running it helps with sustaining fitness for harder matches.

Well, that is in no way contradictory with what I said, is it? :-/

Btw why isn't roca in the squad? If he was fit for sure sarr could have been left out. We have no reason for having 2 rb's on the bench when sarr is shit anyways.

I was agreeing with both of you, just with the embedded comment limits I had to select the most recent one to respond to.

Stanisic is almost a like for like sub for Pavard. Industrious and reliable in the back, but lacking a bit of creativity going forward. With Nagelsmanns tendency to play asymmetrically, where our right fullback sits deeper anyways, it’s not a bad thing to have two similar profile players for the same postion.

I think a lot of Süle’s worst matches came from when Kimmich was playing RB. Kimmich is so hyper aggressive that he would fail to get back in time and leave Süle 2v1 and Süle got thrown under the bus for it. When Süle plays with a more conservative RB he looks much more stable.

Come on Lewandowski, score and extend your streak! They're just passing the ball with no determination and it's going to be tough for him.

Lol wtf Neuer? Great save anyway, but he shouldn't have needed to do that.
