No surprises here. It is what it is with Flick. He has made his ideas clear from the start, he is the boss, he wants specific players in his disposal and he chooses accordingly. Since his choices are aligned with good football and wins then you can't blame him.

I don't like the way he treats Lucas Hernandez. I don't think Marc Roca is THAT bad either but if he didn't ask for Roca or they didn't consulted him before signing Roca then it's not entirely his fault, isn't it?
He "played" hard with Sane's mind from the start and he didn't even flinched, left him on bench, numerous substitutions and publicly send some messages about his overall work-rate too, now Sane improved his overall play, his numbers and he starts regularly. As I said, Flick has a system, you serve the system, you play, fair and square. Same applies when he talks with the board I suppose, pretty clear with me.

Herr Flick doesn't do "business" therefore when he talks the others should listen, no political games, no favors. Take it or leave it.

IMO Alaba has played his best in midfield this season and I'm behind him playing there.

Lucas not playing is very unfortunate though. He has always been great and reliable.

I suppose we'll see him now with Davies sent off lol.
