I find his choice of words saying "only the last 15 minutes were good again" to be quite interesting, considering that matches up with the amount of time James spent on the pitch...

Süle so low in the three of them, weird.

Probably because he didn't go for the tackle and kept marking the player with some distance in their goal scored.

Makes sense, but I feel is not fair with Süle since he had some good tackles too. But is not that big of a deal.

Well, they could easily score 2 more goals, but they somehow failed.

I could have asked you exactly the same thing back when Guardiola was in charge and almost every BuLi game ended at 4-0 in our favor, with the regular 7-0 and 8-0s.

Yeah yeah, funny dig at ramsej84. The big difference between Guardiola and Kovac, however, is that the latter (probably!) wouldn't try something strange, untested and unpredictable when the tough match comes along... for better or for worse.[/quote]

EVERY match is a tough match with that moron...

And yes I‘m not denying we’re on a "winning streak", but you claim Dortmund are lucky and excuse this weekly shitshow at the same time...
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

Bayern is expected to win this matches easily, since our players are an order of magnitude better.

And it's for worse... Kovac doesn't try strange things on big matches because he simply doesn't try anything new ever. Just keeping a failed formula intact.

How exactly is it a failed formula if we are on a winning streak? You're too harsh. It's not the ideal formula, I know, but saying it's failed is really stretching it.

It's right there in the first paragraph I posted! Bayern is and should be expected to win most BuLi matches even with no tactics at all! Even with half a missing squad, we should be winning most BuLi matches. Our players are simply a whole different league than those of the rest of clubs (except BVB and maybe Leipzig).

These are failed tactics because they were proven a failure in the CL.

Champions League 2009-10: 10 points in group, 2nd place. Reached final.
Champions League 2011-12: 13 points in group, 1st place. Reached final.
Champions League 2012-13: 13 points in group, 1st place thanks to direct encounter vs Valencia. Won treble.
Champions League 2018-19: 14 points in group, 1st place for the first time since 2015.

As I said, I'm not a fan of Kovac, never was, not even when he was a player. I don't like his tactics, and I don't like his player selection. But this, right here, this is a witch-hunt.

not to mention that his tactics destroyed our double hopes nine months ago... but whatever.

I wouldn't say that's a pure arrogance, but more a sad reality, in worst case, living in the past.

How come? Expectations have been the same over the last three years as they were in period between 2010-2016.
Unfortunately, we are very far from that and the expectations in the last 3 seasons extremely declined, but that didn't happen in heads of many fans because accepting ('a new') reality automatically means bye-bye to dreams you're expecting to happen.
The board gave their direction in which we are constantly moving for 4 years.
You just can't live stuck in time or some specific year or period. If Heynckes' Bayern was a pure past few months later and now some 'far' past, then the same goes for Guardiola's Bayern.
People taught themselves on something, it became a habit and now when you moved away very far, but you still stayed in some specific time, cutting ties represent frustrations, sadness, anger, negativity...
