One day less to rest as they are playing right now (relatively good game) plus the trip to Munich ... we have a big advantage there.

By the way :being amazing and win against Benfica, Nürnberg and Hannover but losing or draw against Ajax and Leipzig would basically mean all the stuff about being better with the 4-2-3-1 worth nothing.

Franck Ribéry missed today's training and is unlikely to play against Leipzig on Wednesday. Gnabry and Coman set to start on the wings again [SportBild]

Transfermarkt says James is fit. If so then I hope he makes a sub appearance.

No, he really isn't.

James did not even start walking on the pitch ...

When he will, it will take him 2 weeks to be back in team training.

I think James will start full training in about a month's time.

Wonder what Boateng is doing here instead of Hummels ?

If real Kovac really want a war with Hummels.

If you want to use Boateng then give a rest to Sule..

To me Niklas Süle should always play when fit. He's the future at Bayern. I think the best partnership is Hummels and Süle.

Hummels and Süle seem to play better, but they are very slow. Boateng is always needed in defense IMO. But I'm talking about the real Jerome Boateng, not the pathetic version we've been witnessing recently #-o

Süle will need to rest at some point.

Boateng-Hummels served us very well for a long time. I don't think they should be written off so quickly.

Some people just won’t stop living in the past and will keep denying reality to continue latching onto nostalgia :coffee:

Well then don’t hold your breath because the “real” Boateng is gone forever and the “real” Boateng you refer to only lives in our memories now. The truth is that the current pathetic version is what he is now and will remain because he’s finished at the top level.

- Süle is young and I’m sure he’s raring to play as many games as he can. Rest is for the older guys. I remember there used to be a time when there was no mention of “resting” any of your top youngsters and the up and comers played entire seasons to cement their position and become better.

Also, @Daniel: you won’t give it a rest with your Boateng support until he screws up in a big UCL KO game that results in Bayern getting eliminated

Not entirely correct - I am also in favour of Sule-Hummels and totally against Sule-Boateng. But I do not consider Boateng a bad player and would be fine with Boateng-Hummels starting... this is all hypothetical though. This is an important game and we shouldn't be resting anyone.
