One poor game in a long season, though its getting harder to tell if your even a fan and I'm glad more people aren't falling for your doom and gloom.

Don't know why, but after every Top-Leistung full of goals, it's always hard to repeat the same in the next match.

I saw 2 days ago that in 22 encounters vs Hoffenheim in the last 11 years, they only won 2 matches against us.

Despite their great performance under Nagelsmann guidance over the last few years, we are still too strong for them and win almost every match.

As I said today earlier before the match. It's hard despite Hoffenheim are far from their best and last 3-4 seasons.

Guess reception in the States got worse...
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

When I evaluate a match I always consider the totality including the result. I agree results can be deceiving but results are what matter the most in the end of the day. Do you think all the UCLs R.Madrid won with dodgy calls in cup ties on top of very poor league play have an asterisk on them?

This game just showed us that we dont know how to control the game. We were all over the place once again.
We have some good spells and attack, press etc...but then we somehow forget how to keep possession and find space.
It happens in almost every game.

It seems there is no clear plan of what certain players need to do and what their job is. There is rarely any connetion between our midfield and attack. Kovac needs to stop playing Tolisso. He runs around like a headless chicken and when pressed he almost certainly losses possession every time. he is only good when supporting the attack...if you play him so deep...every coach in the world will order his players to press him as that is the best chance for the counter attack. We saw that against Tottenham, we saw that today and we saw it in almost every game he played there.
He needs to play Martinez if Kimmich is back at RB.

Coman has some good moments..but most of the time he is our weakest link in attack. He barely does anything than just trying to win 1vs1 and even when he goes past some player...he cant seem to find a player in the box. Neuer has better vision and passing than Coman. Just play Muller or Perisic..give him some playing time.

I knew selling Hummels was a mistake. If only we kept him...Boateng is not as good as he was...and Sule is out of form..for some time now.
Starin` at the world through my rearview

Well, not relevant... You said one poor gane when in fact it’s tough to find one really good game... Yes we won 7-2, we finished outstandingly, but it was not a 7-2 game... It was barely a 3-2 game... We got lucky... And we played well for 45mins maybe... Which is the absolute MOST we ever had this season... We had a lucky win at Padrborn, we basically lost to Hertha... It’s not about 90 minutes of over the top attacking but there isn’t a single game where we were really convincing... So yeah, this "one bad game" shot doesn’t fly here for people with eyes...

It’s not doom and gloom btw we will most likely still win Bundesliga because the other teams are too shit... But that’s just it and that’s a fact as plain as daylight...

To even drop points to a team that was hanging in the ropes THIS MUCH is ridiculous in itself, add that it’s at home and with our supposedly great offense and my belly is hurting...

Like I said earlier, when I evaluate a match I consider the totality. Obviously I always want Bayern's performances to be top class but the result cannot be ignored and sadly this time the right result didnt come.

Mueller not starting this game is beyond stupid.

Truly awful squad management by Kovac. I just don't get it.

Well as long as he’s not dropping points to bad teams... Oh wait...

Obviously not but if we won it wouldn't have mattered as much similar to Liverpool if they didn't get the PK in injury time today.

Expected lower performance from Bayern and more enthusiastic Hoffenheim. And this happens when going for the long run.

I missed this game and just saw the highlights. I'm shocked at VAR. In the 44th minute, Gnabry squared the ball to Lewandowski who had a very easy tap-in into a practically-empty net that he'd have scored with his eyes closed, but he was clearly pushed in the back. It should have been a red card on top of the penalty, and we'd have ended the first half 1-0 up against 10 men, and we'd have almost definitely won the match comfortably. Disgusting.
