Wagner is such a waste of space. Because he's the "specialist" back up striker, he always has to be in the squad like Ulreich. But if the team doesn't need another striker which is 90% of the time, he doesn't add any value.

Would be much better to have a forward who plays a different primary position but can do a job at striker if needed. Imagine if Muller was good.

I dream that Gnabry will end up being such a player to kick Wagner or Muller out of the squad so we can have more space on the bench for the likes of Renato and Tolisso.

Agreed. I do think that Wagner is going to be left out of the squad quite often.
If bad comes to worst, Tolisso can also play as a striker substitute.

TBH, at this point, I am going to approach every single match with the assumption that Robben and Ribery will start until it is consistently proven otherwise.
