I'm game if it's just like a short match report and highlights of the game. A long analysis of the game should be left to professionals.

robben's goal, note the one two pass he made with Lewa... it was a semi chipped pass. =D>
Rode will soon become a fan favorite...
I have a feeling that he'll be Schweinsteiger's successor and got the feeling that he is his mentor.
Well done Rode a great example to all footballers. =D>

Unlike other substitutes, he doesn't whine and use effectively every minute offered to him on the pitch, Rode is in deed a real gain for Bayern.

Well done Rode a great example to all footballers.

Have you seen his Facebook profile, lately? Well, he's in great relationship with Schweinsteiger brothers. They are often spotted together everywhere. At stadium match, on FCB basketball matches, private meetings, etc.

What can you conclude? Obviously, Bastian wants to make Rode his successor and what you said, he's Sebastian's mentor.

There's no other explanation why do they spend so much time socializing outside of the field. Same position, same color of hair, same attitude, almost the same name but we can say it is, all of these stuff they have in common. :)

I was impressed by Rode last night. After being benched for most of the season, he still came out and performed admirably on both ends of the field. If he keeps up his professional attitude, I think he is going to have a much better second year at Bayern.

Summary of Rode's season so far:

A goal in his first game, against Wolfsburg, which was unfairly ruled out.
An assist against Schalke
An assist against Frankfurt (which I think was still going in even if Shaqiri didn't touch it)
A goal against Hoffenheim

All in 261 minutes of Bundesliga time played, ergo, less than three full matches.

Not bad is it? :)

Who else would bring me 6 points for the match prediction than Doctor! 8)

Just curious, why do you call him "Doctor" Rode?

Because he has a Ph.D. in kicking...

It's an expression around these parts, when someone is really good, you call him Doctor... Obviously, he's general's favorite player.

Guy below told you why. What can I say... :P

When you look at his attitude, that work-rate, aggression, mentality of a fighter... Rode does his job with max. commitment. Who wouldn't have player like Rode.

Also, I'd put a white doctor coat on him, he'd look as a doctor.

JANCKER wrote:Obviously, he's general's favorite player.

Well, with Robben he's certainly one of my favorite guys at Bayern. Bastian, Martinez, Ribery, Boateng, good-old Pizarro are also special to me, and Alonso who was my one of 5 my favorite defensive midfielders in the past decade. :)

All guys are fantastic, but some guys are more prominent, it's either because I like their personality or their class with a bit personality I like.

That's why I'd say Robben and Rode are special story. You can see from the mentioned names and player/personality profiles.

Hmm, in that case I will start calling Gomez by Doctor Gomez
