This formation makes us better in offense. We seem to occupy spaces more effectively

But the defensive transitions are piss poor with plenty of open spaces in midfield due to midfielders not tracking back.
There is a lot of work to be done in that aspect.

And now that Thiago is not yet in good form it makes it even more noticeable. He is being too careless lately with crazy runs or pressing high up the pitch


I still think we should give Thiago more freedom and play a true CDM as anchor

I agree. I think too much to do for Thiago. He is the only create midfielder he is also asked to do defensive work.

Kovac should switch to 3-defender systems like Loew did to NT, we have good men to use these formations, they give us to have more men up front, more weapons in offense and could defend better than 4-3-3
