Add to that the today's non-existent team effort and team play by Lewy,Gnabry,Kimmich who played it selfish in their respectful chances plus the atrocious midfield and you have that disgusting first half into your plate!

Actually what Goretzka is doing for us?
Tolisso is the guy if you want goalscorer in your midfield.
Thiago / James the options that you want if you want playmaker.
And all of them plus Javi if you want a better defender.

The conclusion is that he is playing in Bayern because he is young, German and his contract was expiring. And because Uli likes these type of transfers.

TBH he would be a great squad player transfer, very good young DM!

Goretzka would make a fine player if he was coached. But because he's been told to be a "#6" today, he's well out of his depth. Can't create or defend, the only 2 things a #6 should be able to do, so he's ghosting because he's only capable of being an outlet off the ball.



Would be okay, using all the same players with a tiny change in instructions, but the coach doesn't have the brain capacity for it.
