Lucas played 5 minutes and managed to get a better rating than Coutinho, lol.

Don’t think he was good either but you’re just gonna tell me I'm biased... That rating's a little harsh though nonetheless...

No I'm not. He was pretty mediocre in my eyes also.

It wasn't a very pretty performance, but certainly good enough. Augsburg have played us pretty close recently, and while we weren't that great, it never really felt like the result was in doubt either, IMO.

Ultimately this last couple of matches (and perhaps the next couple) have never been about winning pretty. With Coman and Lewy out, Perisic not yet back, really it seems like the goal for this period has pretty much been to get through without dropping points. And so far - so good. Certainly would be nice to look better doing it, but there's certainly some value in a good workmanlike performance when you're missing key players and showing fatigue. On we go. 9 matches to go, 4/5 points clear, we just have to keep on going no matter how ugly or pretty it is.

Oh, it‘s not about pretty...!
But the first half was lackluster at best... You can have a bad day, but not because you simply don’t want to invest anything...

And I very much think it was in doubt... Until the 1-0 and quite a few times after as well... If they had scored the 1-1 on open goal, I doubt we'd have won this...

I agree it was a bad performance. But not the "Kovac-level" performance like you said during the match.
At least we were pretty solid at the back. Looked more like this games with Pep where we just passed the ball around and did nothing else.

I'm not convinced with Zirkzee. His first touch is beyond terrible and his ball control quite erratic too. He's got decent positioning and off-the-ball movement though, but I don't think he could become the next Mario Gomez either.

He had a couple of poor touches but also a few moments where he redirected the ball nicely. I think it's way too soon for a judgment like that.

You think?
Well, I think we can agree it was REALLY bad... Definitely the worst half since Flick took over...

Doesn't matter much, we have 3 points.

You can't play well every game, especially with this kind of opponents.
Before the match, I was worry about injury because every fuc-king time we played vs Augsburg, there was at least one player down and went straight to hospital.

What matter most for Bayern at this period of time is keep winning, to maintain top spot and put focus/energy on Champions League.
