I miss Jupp. When he was coach we had a tiny squad and only Robben was an injury issue!

I will always miss Jupp, but injury issue always exist in bayern. With Heynckes, we suffered the lost of Kroos and Badstuber, fortunately Javi Martinez and Alaba made a great job replacing them.
Super-Bayern! Super-Bayern! Hey! Hey!

What is wrong with our players and their injuries? Are there too many matches or hard training?

Pizarro and Badstuber unfit. Maybe Gaudino or Weiser could play but I doubt it.

I think the current injury situation also proves what a "year of destiny.", so to speak, 2012/13 was. Not to say that the treble was down to luck, but it was made possible in large part because we also only really had the two major injuries, one of which (Kroos) was in all the way in April.

Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Lahm, Robben, Alaba, Ribéry: all of these have missed significant time this year, but all of them stayed fit for (more or less) the entire 2012/13 season. Amazing how sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...

It's been two years guys... Lahm Robben Ribsy Basti, they are all the wrong side of 30 now. But yes, injuries have been truly cruel, Alaba, Benatia, Javi, Thiago...

Guardiola like Mourinho likes smaller squad size. That is, assuming everyone is healthy, (I forgot the exact number of it something like 20 I think) that is the optimum number to keep everyone happy and everyone has a chance to play. Unlike Guardiola, Mourinho doesn't rotate his players at all unless w/ injury.

With Zambrano, Meier and Russ out and Frankfurt's terrible defense it should be fine to play one of the youngsters

On whether Pep will rotate heavily against Frankfurt -
Pep:Heavy rotation? Today I had 14 players. I really can't rotate much. Maybe Manuel Neuer can play in offensive midfield, then I'll have one more player there. Of course, I can rotate, but I don't have the players to do a lot of rotating. Sinan Kurt is sick today too, so he can't play tomorrow either.

I am still laughing!

OFFICIAL:

Reina - Alonso, Dante, Thiago, Lewandowski, Rafinha, Bernat, Götze, Lahm (K), Müller, Weiser

I tried to see what formation we'd play but I can't come up with one.
