(Robben and Ribéry abort Traning)

Both Robben and Ribéry aborted the training yesterday with pain in their thighs and for today both are questionable. Looks like we could be seeing more of Shaqiri today than we had hoped. Or at least for reasons other than the ones we had hoped for.

Damn, we are getting shafted by the fottball injury gods this year.

Talk about bad luck. Well at least we now have a decent bench to deal with such situations.

Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

If Ribery and Robben miss this one I guess we will play with Shaqiri-----Kroos----Müller but I think at least Ribery will play

Yeah, I don't think both will be out. Just sucks that this happens at all. I'd really love to see us this season having no one injured at all. I can't begin to imagine the way in which we would dismantle the competition when everyone of us is at 100%.

Actually are lineup still looks really good without Robbery, but I hope at least one plays.

I'm looking forward to the game today. First BL game of the season that I'll get to watch the stream live!

If rumours are true that Ribery and Robben will both be out, I see a midfield of:

Martinez --- Schweinsteiger

Müller --- Kroos --- Shaqiri

Robben und Ribery verletzt
(Robben and Ribéry injured)

According to "dpa" (Deutsche Presseagentur - sort of a German Reuters), both Robben and Ribéry will be out vs Mainz.

Yes
This has been confirmed
Both are not really injured but Heynckes does not want to risk them (i dont blame him)

Shaqiri and Kroos will take their places

This is the perfect chance for Martinez to step in and prove himself. I hope he lives up to the high expectations set upon him by the fans.

Cool, looking forward to see this lineup in action. Hopefully our over-reliance on Robbery is finally over.
