IMO Burki has the level of a very good back up gk of an elite tm.... nothing more...
Stuttgart's gk also a Swiss will surely take his place as Helvita's #2

Haaland. I can't stop admiring this gem of a player, May God Bless him... whoever is taking him will be doing the greatest investment of the 21st century...

Dortmund won't think twice to sell Haaland as they think very highly of their teen...
They will obviously do all they can not to sell him to Bayern.

Most probably both Manchester teams are the firm favorites to sign him and than Real come just behind

I just made that number up, but for sure it is close

It's in our DNA, and it's actually seems to getting stronger every year.

This made me curious so I thought I would look into it more. Just for this season; first is number of dead-ball goals (direct free-kick/set piece/corner), second is percentage of a team's total goals from dead-ball situations, third is sorted by dead-ball xG against.

1. Leipzig - 1
2. Hoffenheim, Augsburg, Leverkusen - 2
5. Gladbach, Frankfurt - 3
7. Bielefeld - 4
8. Wolfsburg, Koln - 5
10. Mainz, Freiburg, Hertha, Stuttgart, Bayern, Bremen, Union - 6
17. Dortmund - 9
18. Schalke - 12

1. Leipzig, Hoffenheim - 7%
3. Augsburg - 8%
4. Gladbach - 11%
5. Leverkusen, Frankfurt - 12%
7. Bielefeld, Mainz - 17%
9. Koln - 18%
10. Freiburg, Hertha - 21%
12. Stuttgart - 22%
13. Bayern, Bremen - 24%
15. Wolfsburg - 26%
16. Schalke - 27%
17. Union - 29%
18. Dortmund - 35%

1. Bayern - 2.41 dead-ball xGA
2. Leipzig - 2.87
3. Augsburg - 3.30
4. Koln - 3.66
5. Union - 3.69
6. Hoffenheim - 4.00
7. Frankfurt - 4.31
8. Stuttgart - 4.59
9. Wolfsburg - 4.82
10. Leverkusen - 4.96
11. Hertha - 5.11
12. Gladbach - 5.25
13. Bremen - 5.65
14. Freiburg - 5.74
15. Bielefeld - 6.08
16. Mainz - 6.09
17. Dortmund - 6.39
18. Schalke - 9.63

In short: Dortmund's set-piece defending is - quite literally - relegation-level
Nice work!
I assume you did this yourself using some source?
What does it say on offense - particularly for us?

We'll be champions tomorrow :coffee: If we beat Schalke that's 7 points over Leipzig and 10+ over everyone else.

If we don't beat Schalke... it's Schalke, Flick should get the sack.

Yes - taken from Understat. I'm not sure it says a ton about our attacking, but I guess we could gather that either a.) we've been 'unluckier' than expected on set-piece defending or b.) set-piece defending is a bigger portion of our defensive issues than we may think it to be, or c.) perhaps a bit of both. It is a bit odd that we have the lowest expected goals-against in the league on dead-ball situations but are 10th (number) or 13th (percentage) in actual dead-ball goals conceded....

Here's an odd random fact - In German competitions (BL, Pokal, Supercup):

Haaland - 15 goals, 3 assists
A. Silva - 15 goals, 5 assists

Rest assured that tomorrow we won't win

1. refs will be all out against us in order not to kill the fun
2. Bayern themselves are not in favour of having to play in a dead league already
3. Cont from pt 2. Bayern are known to have helped other important teams in need in the past...
