MAN!

Great call!
Obviously not for him...

But you were spot on!

Damn I was really hoping not to be but it looked so obvious when I saw it. Let's hope for a full recovery for him. I'd never wish that injury on anyone

Putting things into perspective. Yes, that was a terrible loss, and yes we have massive holes in defence which need to be fixed. But we're very far from the only ones doing badly, not in Germany, not in Europe.

For instance we've been saying how embarrassing it is that we let in 2 vs Mainz, even though we put 5 past them. Dortmund just drew against them.

Dortmund, Leipzig, and Leverkusen all failed to win this weekend. Leipzig and Leverkusen failed to win last weekend too. We lost one in the BL and one in the Pokal, and we're remaining in first even if we lose a 3rd game in a row.

There are problems. They need to be fixed, and fast. But it is very far from the end of the world.

How many shitty 2nd league teams did the three mentioned clubs lose against? With a gifted goal and giving away two leads?

A shitty Bundesliga title is not enough for these players to redeem themselves...!

2020/21 Bundesliga Discussion Thread

Postby FCBayernMunchen » Sat Jan 16, 2021 6:32 pm

Well we won against the teams they failed to beat. We can go on like this forever. It was a shit game and we need to fix our problems but the season overall has been decent to good, let’s not forget that. Practically everyone else is struggling worse than us.

If you want to call it a least shitty of the shitty sort of thing, so be it

This game alone is not just staining whatever season we play, it is tearing a HUGE hole in it, that, as I said before, is hard to fix... The 2001 team did it... And there is not much wiggle room between what they did and this season being shit...

Imagine that. Leipzig can't top Bayern despite that Bayern can't beat 2nd division teams and despite that Bayern have a game in hand. What does that say about Leipzig now?

This is Dortmund in a nutshell, a convincing win last week turned into a fiasco earlier today with a draw against the bottom team. Once again Dortmund showed that they are not a team to reckon with or fear in any way, in the long run that is. And missing a penalty doesn't help either, and a big miss it was. Don't see the point why a struggling player like Reus took the penalty when you're having players like Haaland and Sancho who has taken penalties this season, and scored. So frustrating to see Bayern struggle (well, from a Bayern point of view) and no other team being able, at least, to show Bayern that if you don't improve you'll pay for it. But Dortmund did just what Leverkusen did a few weeks ago, what Leipzig did last week, failed to make BuLi a little bit more interesting than it actually is. F**K!

0-1 is actually flattering for Dortmund, could easily been more if it wasn't for Leverkusen's inefficiency.

Don't wanna take anything away from Leverkusen, they were the team who converted one of their chances in the second when it could have gone either way. Dortmund is struggling a lot, don't really know what their strategy or game plan is. I do think they have the material to perform a lot better than they do for the moment, but way to inconsistency and the defense lacks, and lacks a lot. If they don't fix things soon, top four could be out of reach.

Well, Dortmund saved by VAR in the first minute, apparently it's not allowed to touch a defending player just outside the penalty box.

Nothing can save Dortmund from their constant fuck ups.
